In addition to my counselling and psychotherapy services, I also offer creative workshops focused on mindfulness for relaxation and overall well-being.

Bereavement Workshops

At Focus Therapy, I understand that engaging in traditional bereavement counselling can be challenging for some individuals. That's why I offer structured, cafe-style bereavement workshops designed to provide a supportive and engaging environment for those who have experienced loss.

These workshops bring together a group of 8-10 people in a relaxed, informal setting, complete with tea and cake. The workshops are held on a set day and time each week, allowing participants to build connections, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Throughout the 8-10 week program, we will explore specific grief-related issues and provide guidance on topics such as navigating the first year after a loss, coping with anniversaries, and handling practical matters like paperwork. The workshops incorporate a variety of creative approaches, including mindfulness, storytelling, journaling, drawing, singing, and dancing, to make the sessions engaging and enjoyable.

Each workshop session will last approximately two hours and will be held at various locations in the local area. Specific venue details will be provided upon signing up, as the locations may change from one program to another. The cost is just £12.50 per session. To secure your place and ensure a consistent group experience, payment for the full program is required in advance.
